To supply the energy for an average house the household will require 15 panels to match current usage on average. The system will require an invertor and dry cell batteries (Minimum 5). It is an alternative but may be impractical for most houses, as the panels are usually mounted on the roof and there may not be enough space to mount the panels.

Solar Thermal Heating System - £2,127 (excl Vat & Grant).
For use in the home to supply all the hot water needed in the home. The system uses the existing hot water pipe work in the house and mounts solar thermal panels on the roof to power up the system.
The system can be supplied with a DIY kit for installation or can be supplied fully installed into the home if required. See diagram on the right.
